Wait until you see what's comingThe Canal Music Fest has been the platform for free concerts provided to the residents of Tipp City and the surrounding area since 2010. The event has gained momentum each year and has grown from roughly 200 attendees in 2010 to roughly 4,000+ people in 2016 and beyond.
"Why is this event called the Canal Music Fest?" Simple. The first event in 2010 was held at the Canal Lock Park and appropriately named the Canal Music Fest. In 2011, the event moved to City Park but the name stayed the same. While the size and the location have changed over the past six years—our commitment to this free, family-friendly music event has not. We remain committed to providing this opportunity for friends and family to get together and enjoy great music, delicious food and a good, old-fashioned sense of community. The Canal Music Fest would not be possible without the financial support of great sponsors; the enthusiastic support of a community; the physical resources and support of a city; and the technical, creative and dedicated support of an all-volunteer committee. The Canal Music Fest is just one of the many exciting events and activities sponsored by the Tipp City Area Arts Council. Visit the TCAAC website and follow us on Facebook for information on upcoming events! The Tipp City Area Arts Council is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is dedicated to the promotion, development and support of the visual, musical, physical and literary arts in Tipp City, Ohio and surrounding areas. ![]() Check meetup for some fun pre-concert events and/or groups to hang out with!
